My Experience at the Lantern Festival
Last year, I had the opportunity to attend the Lantern Festival with my family. It was a memorable experience that I will cherish forever.
We arrived at a nearby park where a lantern fair was being held. The park was filled with colorful lanterns of all shapes and sizes. It was a spectacular sight to behold. The lanterns depicted various characters from Chinese mythology and folklore. I was fascinated by the intricate designs and the vibrant colors.
One of the highlights of the Lantern Festival is solving riddles written on lanterns. I tried my best to solve as many riddles as possible. Some were easy, while others were quite challenging. It was a great exercise for my mind, and I felt a sense of accomplishment whenever I guessed the correct answer.
Of course, no Lantern Festival is complete without indulging in delicious food. We tried different types of yuanxiao, each with a unique filling. I particularly enjoyed the ones filled with black sesame paste. They were sweet and chewy, and the flavors burst in my mouth.
As the night went on, the lanterns were lit, illuminating the park. It was a magical sight. The lanterns created a warm and cozy atmosphere, and I felt a sense of joy and togetherness with my family. We walked around the park, admiring the lanterns and enjoying each other's company. It was a precious moment that I will always treasure.
