The bar chart illustrates the global energy consumption from 1990 to 2015. It shows the energy consumption in five different sectors, namely industry, transportation, residential, commercial, and other. The unit is in quadrillion British thermal units (BTUs).
From the chart, it can be observed that the industrial sector has consistently been the largest energy consumer throughout the entire period. In 1990, industrial energy consumption stood at around 100 quadrillion BTUs, and it gradually increased to nearly 150 quadrillion BTUs in 2015. The transportation sector, on the other hand, started with the second-highest energy consumption in 1990, but its growth rate was relatively slower compared to the other sectors. By 2015, transportation energy consumption reached about 85 quadrillion BTUs.
The residential and commercial sectors had similar energy consumption levels in 1990, at around 50 quadrillion BTUs. However, the residential sector experienced a more significant increase over the years, reaching nearly 90 quadrillion BTUs in 2015. The commercial sector, on the other hand, only saw a slight increase and remained relatively stable throughout the period.
Lastly, the "other" sector, which includes agriculture and non-specified industries, had the lowest energy consumption in 1990, at about 40 quadrillion BTUs. However, it experienced the most substantial growth rate among all sectors, exceeding 70 quadrillion BTUs by 2015.
In conclusion, the bar chart highlights the significant increase in global energy consumption from 1990 to 2015. The industrial sector remained the largest energy consumer, followed by the transportation, residential, commercial, and other sectors. The "other" sector experienced the most significant growth rate over the period.

The Pie Chart on Social Media Usage by Age Group
The pie chart illustrates the social media usage among different age groups. It presents the data in five categories, namely 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55 and above.
From the chart, it is evident that the 25-34 age group has the highest social media usage, accounting for 35% of the total. This is followed by the 18-24 age group, which represents 30% of the total. Together, these two age groups make up the majority of social media users.
The 35-44 age group comprises 20% of the social media users, while the 45-54 age group accounts for 10%. Both of these age groups have a relatively smaller proportion compared to the younger age groups. The age group of 55 and above has the lowest social media usage, only making up 5% of the total.
The pie chart indicates that social media usage is highest among younger age groups and gradually decreases as the age increases. This is not surprising considering that younger people are generally more tech-savvy and have grown up with the internet and social media platforms.
In conclusion, the pie chart demonstrates the distribution of social media usage among different age groups. The 25-34 and 18-24 age groups have the highest proportion of social media users, while the 55 and above age group has the lowest. This highlights the generational divide in social media usage.

One glance at a pyramid can leave the viewer in awe of its beauty and splend or. Upon closer examination, however, one might be surprised to discover that such a grandiose structure is composed entirely of ordinary stones.
Most people are familiar with the proverb: Rome was not built in a day. An object as grand as a pyramid is likewise not so quickly or easily constructed. Just as the greatness of the city of Rome is due to the combination of its smaller parts, a pyramid is only as strong as the stones it is comprised of. The image of a pyramid reminds us that great success is in fact an accumulation of small achievements.
History proves that many famous artists and scientists are only successful because of their continued efforts, even after numerous failures. One might recall Leonardo Dancings drawing of an egg, Wang Xi Zhi practicing handwriting, or Thomas Edison inventing the light bulb, for example. The fable that tells us that even water can eventually pierce through stone also points to the importance of patience and diligence. We should take such stories and histories into account and remember the importance of fundamentals; remember that one can build a pyramid only if one is willing to work with small stones. People would be wise to abandon rash inclinations and instead try in earnest. Perseverance is sure to lead to success.

In recent years there has been a dramatic rise in the cell phones, which are now essential to millions of people as a convenient form of communication. In 2004 the number reached 315,000,000, with an average annual increase at 57,500,000.
Some people can now no longer imagine life without their cell phones. The fact that they are so popular proves that they are useful and convenient. Cell phones enable people to easily and quickly communicate with one another; wherever you are, you can instantly reach somebody. Cell phones eliminate the trouble of not being able to meet someone in person, and therefore increase businesss efficiency.
Mobile phones necessarily also harbor disadvantages. The radiation such phones emit is hazardous to ones health. Furthermore, if people become too reliant on the use of cell phones, our face to face skills may decline. Any new invention has its drawbacks, and such negative aspects cannot always diminish its popularity. Despite the negative effects of television, for example, the number of people who own televisions continues to grow at a tremendous rate. This is also the case with mobile phones. People wont stop eating just because of the risk ofchoking. In addition, the swift development of science and technology will likely eliminate the hazards cell phones may cause. One can safely predict, therefore, that with the introduction of new techniques, mobile phones will have more applications and become even more appealing to customers.

As we all know, lately the National People's Congress has passed several significant perposals, including the new festivals and holidays policies.Three-day holiday is going to take place of 'Golden Week', which has been written into our latest Labour law.
Instinct attitudes have been proclaimed by different people. The ones who support this new measurement argue that, short-holiday not only is capable of effectively mitigating the transporting and environment pressures caused by heavy tourism industry, but also allows us to celebrate the traditional May Day. However, opposites do not agree with it. In their opinions, only by long-holiday could grant the e
mployees and workers to be provided with sufficient opportunities to relax and rest. What is worse, sum of potential profits, particularly the tourism margins would lost by implementing this legislation.
As to me, this new regulation is acceptable on the whole. On the one hand, we college students still can enjoy our holidays with our families and friends. On the other hand, compared with a whole week holidays, short rest would probably allow us to return to our studies and business more efficiently.

A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. With a dream in the deep heart's core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. A dream is an inexhaustible source of energy that keeps our enthusiasm burning, and kindles our desire to enhance our spiritual cultivation, refine our character, and upgrade our quality of life. A life without a dream is like a bird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond the range of its vision. On the contrary, a man with a dream is like a warrior armed with ambition, foresight and gallantry, daring to step into an unknown domain to make a journey of adventure. It is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spice to our life and makes it worth living.
I have a dream. It is a dream that is deeply rooted in human nature. I dream that one day people of all origins can live in harmony and peace without being discriminated against or persecuted. The bounty of the earth can be shared by every single human being. Mutual respect will guarantee the existence and continuation of the persity of customs and cultures. Love, sympathy, and cooperation will alleviate the sufferings and disasters inflicted upon our fellow men. Respect for basic human rights will put an end to social injustices and evils.
