After a few moments, Timothy asked Rosie to open her eyes. To her amazement, she saw a faint trail of leaves forming the exact path she had imagined. Excitedly, Rosie hopped off the tree stump and followed the trail, which led her safely back home.
From that day on, Rosie never forgot Timothy's wise advice. Whenever she faced a problem or felt lost, she would close her eyes, imagine a solution, and trust that the path would reveal itself.

It happened that a Dog had got a piece of meat and was carrying it home in his mouth to eat it in peace. Now, on his way home he had to cross a plank lying across a running brook. So he made a snap at the shadow in the water, but as he opened his mouth the piece of meat fell out, dropped into the water and was never seen more.
