经典又简单的儿童英语小故事 篇一

Title: The Clever Rabbit and the Hungry Lion

Once upon a time, in a jungle, there lived a clever rabbit. The rabbit was always known for its intelligence and quick thinking. One day, while hopping around the jungle, the rabbit spotted a hungry lion lurking behind a tree.

The lion had not eaten for days and was desperate for food. As the rabbit saw the lion, it quickly realized that it had to come up with a plan to save itself from becoming the lion's lunch. The clever rabbit decided to use its intelligence to outsmart the lion.

Approaching the lion cautiously, the rabbit said, "Oh mighty lion, I have a secret to share with you. But I can only whisper it in your ear." The lion, intrigued by the rabbit's words, leaned closer to hear the secret.

Whispering softly, the rabbit said, "I know where the tastiest and juiciest fruits can be found. But it's a secret passage, and only I know the way to it." The lion's eyes widened with excitement at the thought of delicious fruits. It eagerly asked the rabbit to guide it to the secret passage.

The rabbit agreed but requested the lion to close its eyes and follow its every instruction. The lion, blinded by its hunger, complied without hesitation. The rabbit led the lion through a series of twists and turns, making sure to confuse the lion with its directions.

Finally, the rabbit led the lion to a deep well. The well was filled with water, and the rabbit knew that the lion would not be able to resist quenching its thirst. The rabbit quickly climbed up a nearby tree and watched as the lion leaned over to drink the water from the well.

As the lion leaned forward, it lost its balance and fell into the well with a loud splash. The rabbit had successfully tricked the lion and saved itself from becoming the lion's meal.

The intelligent rabbit hopped away, feeling proud of its quick thinking and cleverness. From that day on, the rabbit became even more respected by the other animals in the jungle, who admired its wit and intelligence.

Moral of the story: Intelligence and quick thinking can help you overcome challenging situations.

Title: The Ant and the Grasshopper

In a sunny meadow, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. The ant was hardworking and spent its days gathering food for the winter, while the grasshopper enjoyed playing and singing all day long. The grasshopper never thought about the future and believed that everything would work out fine.

As the days grew shorter and colder, the ant continued to collect and store food for the winter. The grasshopper, on the other hand, continued to enjoy itself, oblivious to the approaching winter. When the first snowflakes began to fall, the grasshopper suddenly realized that it had no food to eat.

Hungry and shivering, the grasshopper approached the ant and asked for help. The ant, who had anticipated this situation, replied, "Why should I help you? You spent all summer playing and singing while I worked hard to gather food."

Regretful and desperate, the grasshopper pleaded with the ant, promising to work hard and be responsible in the future. Moved by the grasshopper's sincerity, the ant decided to help.

The ant took the grasshopper to its storehouse and shared some of its food. From that day on, the grasshopper learned the importance of hard work and planning for the future.

Moral of the story: It is important to be responsible and plan ahead for the future.
