Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and fellow students,
Today, I stand before you to share with you the power of dreams. Dreams are the fuel that drives us to achieve greatness, to overcome obstacles, and to reach for the stars. Dreams have the power to transform not only our lives, but also the world around us.
Every great achievement in history started with a dream. From the invention of electricity to the exploration of outer space, it all began with someone daring to dream. Think about it: if Thomas Edison hadn't dreamed of a world where every home had electric light, we would still be living in darkness. If Neil Armstrong hadn't dreamed of walking on the moon, we would have never witnessed that historic moment.
But dreams are not just for the famous or the extraordinary. Each and every one of us has the power to dream and to make those dreams a reality. It doesn't matter where we come from, what our background is, or what challenges we face. The power of dreams knows no boundaries.
So how do we turn our dreams into reality? It starts with belief. We must believe in ourselves and in our dreams. We must have faith that no matter what obstacles come our way, we have the strength and determination to overcome them. As Walt Disney once said, "If you can dream it, you can do it."
Next, we must take action. Dreams without action are merely fantasies. We must set goals, make plans, and work tirelessly towards achieving them. It won't always be easy, and there will be setbacks along the way, but we must persevere. Remember, the only way to guarantee failure is to never try.
Finally, we must never lose sight of our dreams. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind, to become complacent, and to forget about the dreams that once fueled our passions. But we must always keep our dreams alive and let them guide us towards a brighter future.
In conclusion, dreams have the power to change the world. They have the power to inspire us, to motivate us, and to push us beyond our limits. So never stop dreaming, for it is through our dreams that we can create a better tomorrow.
Thank you.
Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and fellow students,
Today, I want to talk to you about the power of perseverance. Perseverance is the ability to keep going, to never give up, even in the face of adversity. It is what separates the ordinary from the extraordinary, the successful from the unsuccessful.
We live in a world where instant gratification is the norm. We want things to come easily and quickly. But the truth is, anything worth having takes time and effort. It takes perseverance.
Think about the greatest achievements in history. From the construction of the Great Wall of China to the discovery of penicillin, each of these accomplishments required immense perseverance. The people behind these achievements faced countless obstacles, but they never gave up. They kept going, pushing through the challenges, until they reached their goals.
So how can we cultivate perseverance in our own lives? It starts with having a strong mindset. We must believe in ourselves and our ability to overcome any obstacle that comes our way. We must have the mental toughness to keep going, even when it seems impossible.
Next, we must set realistic goals. Perseverance is not about blindly pushing forward without direction. It is about having a clear vision of what we want to achieve and breaking it down into smaller, manageable steps. By setting goals and working towards them, we can measure our progress and stay motivated along the way.
It is also important to surround ourselves with a supportive network. Friends, family, and mentors can provide encouragement, guidance, and accountability. They can remind us of our strengths and help us stay focused on our goals, even when we feel like giving up.
Lastly, we must embrace failure. Perseverance is not about never failing, but about getting back up every time we fall. Failure is a natural part of the journey towards success. It teaches us valuable lessons and strengthens our character. So instead of seeing failure as a setback, we should see it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and become better versions of ourselves.
In conclusion, perseverance is the key to achieving our dreams and reaching our full potential. It is what separates those who succeed from those who give up. So let us embrace perseverance, let us keep going even when it's tough, and let us never give up on our dreams.
Thank you.
youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of
cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
thank you!

An inpidual human existence should be like a river—small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, and rushing passionately past boulders and over waterfalls. Gradually the river grows wider, the banks recede, the waters flow more quietly, and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea, and painlessly lose their inpidual being.
