第一次体检英语日记 篇一
Today was my first ever medical check-up and I must admit, I was feeling a little nervous. I have always heard stories about how uncomfortable and invasive these examinations can be. However, I knew it was necessary to take care of my health, so I went ahead with it.
Upon arriving at the medical center, I was greeted by friendly staff who guided me through the registration process. They handed me a form to fill out, asking about my medical history, allergies, and any current symptoms I may be experiencing. Once I completed the form, I was directed to the waiting area.
After a short wait, my name was called and I was led to the examination room. The doctor introduced herself and explained the different tests and procedures that would be conducted during the check-up. She assured me that there was no need to be anxious and that it was a routine examination to ensure my well-being.
The first test was measuring my height and weight. I stood on a scale while the nurse recorded my weight, and then I stood against a wall while my height was measured. Next, my blood pressure was checked using a blood pressure cuff. The nurse wrapped the cuff around my arm and pumped it up, while the machine displayed my blood pressure reading. Thankfully, it was within the normal range.
The doctor then listened to my heart and lungs using a stethoscope. She asked me to take deep breaths and held the stethoscope against my chest. It was a strange sensation, but not uncomfortable. She also examined my abdomen by gently pressing on different areas to check for any abnormalities.
Next, I was asked to provide a urine sample. I was given a small plastic cup and directed to the restroom. It felt a little awkward, but I followed the instructions and handed the sample to the nurse.
Afterwards, I was taken to the laboratory for blood tests. The nurse drew a small amount of blood from my arm using a needle. I was a bit apprehensive about this part, as I have always been squeamish around needles. However, the nurse was very skilled and it was over quickly.
Overall, the medical check-up was a relatively smooth and painless process. The staff were professional and made me feel at ease throughout the examination. I left the medical center with a sense of relief, knowing that I had taken a proactive step towards maintaining my health.

Today, our school organized physical examination. In the morning, my mother and I got up early and came to the local epidemic prevention station. As soon as we arrived at the hospital, Mr. Zhang began to send physical examination forms to the students. First, we went to the third floor to check simple items such as mouth, height and weight. Second, when we checked the vital capacity and blood pressure. Then we checked the blood pressure. The doctor first took a cloth and tied it to my
wrist. Then we took an instrument like an electronic watch Inserting the cloth, I felt very cold. The doctor pinched a rubber bag with his hand. After a while, the blood pressure was measured.
