Today, I finally arrived in Kaohsiung, a beautiful city in southern Taiwan. It has always been my dream to visit this place and improve my English skills. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I could feel the warm breeze and the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
After settling into my accommodation, I decided to explore the city and practice my English with the locals. I wandered through the bustling streets, amazed by the colorful buildings and lively markets. I stopped by a street vendor selling traditional Taiwanese snacks and struck up a conversation with the friendly vendor. He was patient and encouraging, correcting my pronunciation and teaching me new words and phrases. It was a great opportunity to practice what I had learned in my English classes back home.
In the evening, I attended an English language exchange event at a local café. The event brought together people from different countries who wanted to practice their English skills. I was nervous at first, but everyone was so welcoming and supportive. We engaged in conversations about various topics, including travel, culture, and current events. It was a fantastic way to not only improve my English but also make new friends from around the world.
The next day, I decided to take a trip to the famous Lotus Pond. It is a serene lake surrounded by temples and pagodas. As I walked around the area, I couldn't help but marvel at the intricate architecture and the peacefulness of the surroundings. I struck up conversations with other tourists and practiced my English while admiring the beauty of the place.
In the evening, I attended an English language workshop organized by a local language school. The workshop focused on improving speaking and listening skills through interactive activities and group discussions. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience. I was able to learn new vocabulary and expressions while gaining confidence in speaking English.
Overall, my first few days in Kaohsiung have been incredible. I have been able to immerse myself in the local culture, practice my English with native speakers, and explore the beautiful sights of the city. I am excited for the rest of my time here and can't wait to continue improving my English skills.

Today, I opened my eyes, got out of bed, washed and went out with my mother to eat the buffet in the hotel. Then we went to the playground by car and had a good time. Then we went to the wharf. I didn't know what I touched, and my hands were all dark. Then I went to lunch and I had something to play with. Then we went to the park to play on the beach. It was fun. But when I was happy, it rained all of a sudden.
