Title: The Power of Kindness

Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I want to talk to you about the power of kindness. We often underestimate the impact of small acts of kindness, but they have the power to change lives and make the world a better place.

Firstly, kindness has a ripple effect. When we are kind to others, it inspires them to be kind to others as well. A simple smile, a helping hand, or a kind word can brighten someone's day and create a positive chain reaction. Imagine if everyone committed to performing small acts of kindness every day – the world would be a much happier and harmonious place.

Secondly, kindness has the power to heal. In a world filled with negativity and challenges, a little kindness can provide comfort and support to those who are struggling. Kindness can help alleviate someone's pain, loneliness, or sadness. It can give hope to those who feel lost and remind them that they are not alone. A small act of kindness can go a long way in making a difference in someone's life.

Moreover, kindness can break down barriers and unite people. It transcends cultural, religious, and social differences. Kindness creates a sense of belonging and connection among individuals and communities. It helps us see the humanity in each other and promotes understanding and empathy. By practicing kindness, we can bridge divides and build a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Furthermore, kindness has a positive impact on our own well-being. Studies have shown that acts of kindness release feel-good hormones in our bodies, reducing stress and promoting happiness. When we are kind to others, it boosts our self-esteem and gives us a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Kindness is not only good for others; it is good for our own mental and emotional health as well.

In conclusion, kindness is a powerful force that has the ability to transform lives and make the world a better place. It has a ripple effect, heals wounds, unites people, and promotes personal well-being. Each one of us has the power to be kind and make a difference. Let us choose kindness in our words and actions, and together, we can create a kinder and more compassionate world.

Thank you for listening.

i come to this magnificent house of worship tonight because my conscience leaves me no other choice. i join you in this meeting because i am in deepest agreement with the aims and work of the organization which has brought us together: clergy and laymen concerned about vietnam. the recent statements of your executive committee are the sentiments of my own heart, and i found myself in full accord when i read its opening lines: "a time comes when silence is betrayal." and that time has come for us in relation to vietnam.

the truth of these words is beyond doubt, but the mission to which they call us is a most difficult one. even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government's policy, especially in time of war. nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one's own bosom and in the surrounding world. moreover, when the issues at hand seem as perplexed as they often do in the case of this dreadful conflict, we are always on the verge of being mesmerized by uncertainty; but we must move on.

and some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often a vocation of agony, but we must speak. we must speak with all the humility that is appropriate to our limited vision, but we must speak. and we must rejoice as well, for surely this is the first time in our nation's history that a significant number of its religious leaders have chosen to move beyond the prophesying of smooth patriotism to the high grounds of a firm dissent based upon the mandates of conscience and the reading of history. perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. if it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us.

Dear teacher and classmates:

I am very glad to make a speech here in this class again!

This time, I'd like to talk something about English.I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world.

It has become the most common language on Internet and for inte

rnational trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children .

Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol.

Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.I know, Rome was not built in a day.

I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

Can Money Buy Happiness?

Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some think yes, while others hold the opposite.

It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.

So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

Students, guests , teachers and Honorable Judges.

Good morning !

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.
