Be Grateful to Life 英文演讲稿 篇一
Good morning/afternoon/evening, ladies and gentlemen,
Today, I stand before you to talk about a topic that is often overlooked in our fast-paced and busy lives - gratitude. Gratitude is the practice of acknowledging and appreciating the good things in life. It is an attitude that can bring us happiness, contentment, and a positive outlook on life. Therefore, I urge all of you to be grateful to life.
Life is a precious gift that we often take for granted. We get caught up in our daily routines, chasing after success, wealth, and fame, that we forget to pause and appreciate the simple joys that life has to offer. We forget to be grateful for the breath we take, the food we eat, and the opportunities we have. By being grateful, we can shift our focus from what we lack to what we have, and this shift in perspective can bring us immense happiness.
Being grateful to life also means recognizing the people who have contributed to our well-being and success. We should express gratitude to our parents, teachers, friends, and mentors who have supported and guided us throughout our journey. Take a moment to think about someone who has made a positive impact on your life and let them know how grateful you are for their presence.
Moreover, being grateful to life means cherishing the experiences and lessons we have learned along the way. Life is full of ups and downs, successes and failures, but each experience shapes us into who we are today. Instead of dwelling on the negatives, let us focus on the positives and be grateful for the lessons we have learned, the strength we have gained, and the opportunities for growth that lie ahead.
Gratitude not only benefits us individually but also has a ripple effect on those around us. When we express gratitude, it fosters a sense of connection, kindness, and empathy. It builds stronger relationships, boosts morale, and creates a positive work or social environment. By being grateful, we inspire others to adopt a similar attitude and spread positivity in their own lives.
In conclusion, let us pause for a moment and reflect on the many blessings in our lives. Be grateful for the simple joys, the supportive people, and the valuable lessons that have shaped us into who we are today. By cultivating an attitude of gratitude, we can find happiness, contentment, and a deeper appreciation for life. So, let us embrace gratitude and be grateful to life.
Thank you.
Be Grateful to Life 英文演讲稿 篇二
Good morning/afternoon/evening, respected teachers, and fellow students,
Today, I want to share with you the importance of being grateful to life. In our fast-paced and hectic lives, it is easy to get caught up in our own problems, desires, and ambitions. We often forget to appreciate the simple joys and blessings that life has bestowed upon us. Therefore, I urge all of you to take a moment and be grateful to life.
Gratitude is a powerful practice that can transform our lives. It allows us to see the beauty in everyday moments, the kindness in others, and the opportunities that come our way. By cultivating an attitude of gratitude, we can shift our focus from what is lacking to what is present, and this shift in perspective can bring us happiness, contentment, and peace of mind.
Being grateful to life also means acknowledging the privilege and advantages we have been given. Many people around the world struggle with basic necessities like food, shelter, and education. By recognizing our privileges, we can develop empathy, compassion, and a desire to help those in need. Let us use our blessings to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Moreover, being grateful to life means embracing the challenges and setbacks that come our way. Life is not always smooth sailing, and we will inevitably face obstacles and failures. However, these experiences shape us into resilient, compassionate, and determined individuals. By being grateful for the lessons we learn from these challenges, we can grow and evolve as human beings.
Gratitude is not only a personal practice but also a way to build stronger relationships and communities. When we express gratitude to others, it strengthens our connections, fosters a sense of belonging, and creates a positive atmosphere. It is a simple act that can have a profound impact on the well-being of ourselves and those around us.
In conclusion, let us take a moment each day to practice gratitude. Be grateful for the small joys, the blessings, and the lessons that life has given us. By doing so, we can find happiness, contentment, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us. Let us be grateful to life and spread this attitude of gratitude to create a more compassionate and harmonious society.
Thank you.

Be Grateful to Life英文演讲稿
Once President Roosevelt’s house was broken into and lots of things were stolen. Hearing this, one of Roosevelt’s friends wrote to him and advised him not to take it to his heart so much. President Roosevelt wrote back immediately, saying:“Dear friend, thank you for your letter to comfort me, I am all right now. I think I should thank God. This is because of the following three reasons: firstly, the thief only stole things from m
e but did not hurt me at all; secondly, the thief has stolen some of my things instead of all my things; thirdly, most luckily for me, it was the man rather than me who became a thief.”It is certainly unlucky for anyone to be stolen from. However, President Roosevelt had three reasons to be grateful. This story tells us we should learn to be grateful in our life. There is a sentence from Mahatma Gandhi:“Live as you were to die tomorrow, learn as you were to live forever. ” Great people are always showing their love to the world, just as Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Norman Bethune and so on. How about us?
You can not do everything, but still you can do something. So, be grateful to your life, all the people and things in your life.
Be grateful to the nature, for the fresh air you breathe, the clean water you drink, the beautiful flower you smell.
Be grateful to your parents, for they gave birth to you and taught you right from wrong.
Be grateful to your teachers, for they let you understand “what”,“how”and“why” with great patience.
Be grateful to your friends, for you have known each other since you were 9 or 10 and faced the difficulties together for so many years.
Be grateful to your lover, for he/she gave you love and helped you find the sun every time you were down.
Mother Teresa once said:“People really need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help people anyway; Give the world the best you have and you may get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.” At last I want to say: being grateful can bring us a better and more beautiful life. Why don’t we have a try?let,s get it started!
