It was the summer of my sophomore year in high school when I had the most unforgettable experience of my life. It all started when my family decided to take a road trip across the country. We packed our bags, filled the car with snacks, and set off on our journey.
The first few days of the trip were filled with excitement and anticipation. We visited famous landmarks, tried new foods, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. However, little did we know that our adventure was about to take an unexpected turn.
On the fourth day of our trip, we were driving through a remote area when our car suddenly broke down. We were in the middle of nowhere, with no cell phone signal and no nearby towns. Panic started to set in as we realized we were stranded in an unfamiliar place.
After a few moments of despair, my dad suggested that we start walking in search of help. We left the car behind and began our journey on foot. The scorching sun beat down on us as we trekked through barren lands, desperately hoping to find someone who could assist us.
Hours passed, and just when we were losing hope, we stumbled upon a small farmhouse. We knocked on the door, and to our relief, a kind-hearted farmer opened it. He offered us water and a place to rest while he called a tow truck to rescue our car.
As we waited for the tow truck to arrive, the farmer shared stories of his life and experiences. He told us about his struggles as a farmer and how he had overcome various challenges. His resilience and positive outlook on life were truly inspiring.
Eventually, the tow truck arrived, and we bid farewell to the farmer who had saved us from our predicament. Although our car had broken down, the experience had brought us closer together as a family and taught us valuable lessons about resilience, kindness, and the importance of helping others.
Looking back, I realize that if it weren't for that unexpected adventure, we would have missed out on meeting the incredible farmer and hearing his stories. It was a reminder that sometimes, the most memorable experiences come from the unexpected and the challenging moments in life.
In conclusion, my unexpected adventure during a family road trip remains etched in my memory. It taught me the importance of staying positive in difficult situations and the power of human kindness.

the story of how i learnt to swim is dramatic. one hot summer afternoon, my father and i went to the swimming pool to swim. while my father was changing his clothes, i was roaming along the bank of the pool. suddenly i heard a voice, “look out!” and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. just when i was admiring the swimmer’s skills, i slipped into the pool! i was so afraid that i shouted at once! but the water kept coming towards me and i drank a lot of it. i was moving upside down and trying to reach the bank. i was struggling very hard to keep my head above the water.
a minute was like a hundred years to me. to my surprise, i was able to keep the style! just then, my father, saw me and he seemed to be shocked. he then said, “calm down, just wave your arms and legs like this. right!” and i got it! i finally learnt to swim! you can’t imagine how happy i was and i wanted to jump for joy!
from this unforgettable eperience i learnt that one’s power is unlimited. sometimes you could show that power in an emergency. if you believe that, you will discover the power lying within yourself and achieve your goals. and one has to stay calm when it’s dangerous. to calm down helps you to think clearly and make the best decision for you. that’s what i have learnt from the eperience.

After treatment, I took the red nose to the party.

I still remember that thing a few years later and feel afraid. It happened on my way to play. It was Sunday. I would like to Maggie’s home for a visit. However, when I passed a river, I saw three children at my age playing in the river. How happy they were! At that time, I had a idea that I would like to ask Maggie to go swimming with me in the river. Suddenly, something scare happened. One the three chiledren slipped and the other two wanted to help him. Unfortunately, all of them were struggling. I was shock. And then I rushed to the river bank immediately. However, I saw nothing but the peaceful river. I knew what happened. I was frightened. A few hours later I heard the death of them. I was so frightened and sad that I have never go never any river since then.
