Protecting the Environment with the CD-ROM Campaign
With the rapid development of technology, CD-ROMs have become widely used in our daily lives. However, the excessive use of CD-ROMs has led to severe environmental problems. In order to protect the environment and raise awareness about this issue, a CD-ROM campaign has been launched for middle school students.
The CD-ROM campaign aims to encourage students to reduce the use of CD-ROMs and promote environmentally-friendly alternatives. The campaign includes a series of activities and educational programs to help students understand the impact of CD-ROMs on the environment and learn about sustainable practices.
The first activity of the campaign is a CD-ROM recycling program. Students are encouraged to collect unused or unwanted CD-ROMs and bring them to designated collection points. These CD-ROMs will then be properly recycled to reduce pollution and waste. This activity not only raises awareness about the importance of recycling but also provides a practical solution to the environmental issue.
The second activity is a CD-ROM swapping event. Students can bring their unwanted CD-ROMs to the event and exchange them with others. This not only reduces the demand for new CD-ROMs but also encourages students to share resources and reduce waste. It also promotes the idea of reusing items instead of constantly buying new ones.
The third activity is an educational program about the impact of CD-ROMs on the environment. Students will learn about the materials used in CD-ROM production, such as plastic and metal, and how their extraction and disposal can harm the environment. They will also learn about the energy consumption and carbon emissions associated with CD-ROM production. By understanding these facts, students will be motivated to reduce their use of CD-ROMs and seek alternative methods for information storage and sharing.
In addition to these activities, the CD-ROM campaign also includes the distribution of educational materials, such as brochures and posters, to raise awareness about the environmental impact of CD-ROMs. The campaign also encourages students to use digital platforms for learning and entertainment instead of relying solely on CD-ROMs.
In conclusion, the CD-ROM campaign is an important initiative to protect the environment and promote sustainable practices among middle school students. By reducing the use of CD-ROMs and promoting environmentally-friendly alternatives, we can make a positive impact on the environment and create a more sustainable future.

The Benefits of the CD-ROM Campaign for Middle School Students
The CD-ROM campaign for middle school students is an important initiative that offers a range of benefits. By participating in the campaign, students not only contribute to reducing environmental pollution but also gain valuable knowledge and skills.
First and foremost, the CD-ROM campaign helps students develop a sense of environmental responsibility. Through activities such as CD-ROM recycling and swapping, students learn about the impact of CD-ROMs on the environment and the importance of sustainable practices. By actively participating in these activities, students become more aware of their own consumption habits and are motivated to make positive changes.
Secondly, the CD-ROM campaign promotes the concept of resource sharing and reduces waste. By exchanging unwanted CD-ROMs with others, students learn the value of reusing items instead of constantly buying new ones. This helps to reduce the demand for new CD-ROMs and conserve resources. It also encourages students to develop a sharing mentality, which can be applied to other aspects of their lives.
Furthermore, the CD-ROM campaign enhances students' digital literacy skills. As students are encouraged to use digital platforms for learning and entertainment, they become more familiar with technology and develop the ability to navigate and utilize digital resources effectively. This not only improves their academic performance but also prepares them for the digital age.
Moreover, the CD-ROM campaign promotes teamwork and collaboration among students. Through activities such as CD-ROM collection and recycling, students work together towards a common goal. They learn to communicate, cooperate, and coordinate their efforts, which are essential skills for success in both academic and professional settings.
Lastly, the CD-ROM campaign raises awareness about the environmental impact of CD-ROMs among students' families and the wider community. As students share their knowledge and experiences with their parents and peers, they contribute to a collective understanding of the issue and inspire others to take action. This creates a ripple effect that can lead to broader changes in consumption habits and environmental consciousness.
In conclusion, the CD-ROM campaign for middle school students offers numerous benefits. From developing environmental responsibility and resource sharing habits to enhancing digital literacy skills and promoting teamwork, the campaign has a positive impact on students' personal growth and the wider community. By participating in the campaign, students not only protect the environment but also gain valuable knowledge and skills that will benefit them in the future.

Our government has called on the people to save food and eat healthily so that we can enjoy our happy life. We middle school students should do something for it.
To save food, we shouldn’t waste any of our food. We should eat up all the food. We shouldn’t order the food more than we can eat while dining out, because many people in the world don’t have enough to eat. To eat healthily, we shouldn’t eat junk food but healthy food. It’s good for our health to eat a balanced diet. We’d better not eat in small restaurants. The food and the oil they use are not clean or healthy enough. We’d better eat at school or at home if we have time.

How many times I have seen a company or organisation habitually waste good food? Too many times! They are well-meaning people, and theyd like to give away the food instead of wasting it by putting it in the dustbin. Theyd maybe like to give the food to the needy or the poor, and theres probably a few beggars just along the road if anyone was kind enough to go along and see if they are hungry.
So why dont they do it? Reason: Too many stupid rules! Just as surely as theres no pig bin anymore for food to be recycled as pork (because of various illconceived ideas about the health of pigs if they eat other peoples sunday lunches and leftovers), theres no "well lets give it to the beggars!".
Apparently, beggars can in theory take the company to court if they are made ill by the food. Not that they are seriously going to be made ill by perfectly good food, and not that most beggars have the money to start a legal case.

Recently, people come to realize how much grain we wasted every year. And everyone is called on to join a program, called "GuangpanXingdong",which requires people to eat up all our food.
As for me,i think its a extremely good idea to follow. And there are lots of things we can do to contribute our efforts to it.For example, when we go out for dinner,we can just order as much food as we can eat to make sure little will be wasted.Of course if we really cant eat up our food, its also ok to take it home,so we can eat it later.Besides, once we have a chance to have meals with other people, who dont realize the importance,we can explain what the program is for and persuade them from wasting food.
Some may question whether the campaign have any effect, but,i think ,one thing we should keep in mind is that no matter what a small effort we make,it do make a difference.

Recently, “clearyour plate” campaign is more and more popular in society, which advocates saving against wasting. The campaign draws our attention to wasting on campus. Some students are noticed to throw away a lot of food in the canteen. As is often the case, some lights are still on with nobody in classrooms. What’s more, many a student spends much money buying unnecessary items. As far as Iam concerned, it’s high time that we fought against wasting. Here’re my suggestions. Firstly, I think our school should carry out various activities to arouse students’ awareness of saving. Secondly, relevant rules and regulations are supposed to be made to punish those who waste things. Most importantly, we should form the habit of saving from now. It is everybody’s duty to save resources.
