When you grow up, you will find there is nothing special with English, for so many people are using this language. It’s is said English is a gold key to 21st century. That you have mastered it means you have more opportunities to achieve your dreams.
有人说，英语是一把通往21世纪的金钥匙，谁掌握了它，谁就能有了更多成功的机会。我们现在站在这里的小朋友或许会说，为什么我们感觉不到呢？我举一个简单的例子，三年前，我在浏阳看到一个外国人，我们还会觉得很新奇，但是今天却有越来越多的外国人长住在浏阳。你有没有想到过在你长大后，一天早上跟你一起工作的就是一个讲英语的外国人？
同学们，你们想学好英语吗？大家都想，我也很高兴听到这样的答案。

一、要花时间 Take more time
没有一个人能花时间能做好一件事情。因为我们不要每天都在使用英语，英语中的每个知识点就等着我们自己花时间去消化，小到一个句子，大到一篇文章，甚至是一个课题。你们有没有谁看到谁随随便借就学好了英语的？别说你忙，没有时间学习那就是你懒惰，越忙的人越有时间来学习。
二、要爱上它 Come to love it.
我在心理辅导课的时候做过调查，你最喜欢的科目是什么啊？我听到许多答案，就很少有人说他喜欢科目是英语。同学们，请想一想，我们喜欢什么科目，是不是就觉得这门科目特别容易？特别好学？这就是我们说的，兴趣是最好的老师——好的，亲爱的同学们，就请你从今天就爱上英语吧，像爱你钟爱的玩具一样。
三、管好自己 Be selfrestraint.
也就是说我们要专心地学习。你觉得你上课认真吗？你有没有管住自己的小嘴不乱说？有没有管住自己的`小手不乱动？有没有认真思考老师提出的问题，有没有认真完成老师布置的作业呢？每个人都有很充足借口不学习，不认真学习，你有没有在找不认真学习英语的借口呢？
四、要有信心 Be confident of yourself.
相信你自己，我的朋友们。说到学英语，我们有的同学就嘟起了小嘴巴，一脸的不高兴。有的人干脆说，我学不会。如果我们学习的时候总是不自信，那我们的学习效果一定很糟糕。不自信就是一个巫婆，总是让我们记住的东西忘记，让我们学习心情变得很差，如果是这样，你就相信你自己，让你做一个自信的小超人。
五、持之以恒 Stick on it.
我们有句成语，叫做水滴石穿，你知道它意思吗？当水总是从石头的一个地方滴下去，这个地方就会滴出来一个洞。学习英语主要是靠我们不断积累，千万不要学一下，停一下，这样我们的学习就会像烧水一样，我们才把它烧热，又马上冷了下来，我们就怎么也不能把它烧开。
