My name is Emily and I am from the United States. I am thrilled to be here and have the opportunity to introduce myself in English. I am currently a sophomore majoring in International Relations. My passion for this field developed from my curiosity about different countries and their political systems. I am particularly interested in diplomacy and hope to work in an international organization in the future. I believe that by studying English, I can enhance my communication skills and broaden my understanding of global affairs.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also involved in various extracurricular activities. I am a member of the university's debate team, where I have the opportunity to engage in lively discussions about current events and global issues. I also volunteer at a local charity organization, which has allowed me to give back to the community and develop a sense of empathy towards others.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures. I have been fortunate to visit several countries, including China, Japan, and Germany. These experiences have not only improved my language skills, but also given me a broader perspective on the world. I am excited to learn more about Chinese culture and history during my time here.
In terms of my English language proficiency, I have been studying English since elementary school. I have taken various English courses throughout my academic career and have achieved a high level of proficiency. However, I believe that there is always room for improvement and I am eager to continue developing my language skills through this course.
