Hello everyone, my name is Lisa. I am 25 years old and I come from China. I am here today to introduce myself and share a little bit about my background.
I graduated from Beijing University with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. During my time in university, I developed a strong interest in the English language and culture. I have always been fascinated by how language can connect people from different parts of the world and enable them to communicate and understand each other.
After graduation, I worked as an English teacher in a local high school for two years. This experience allowed me to further improve my English skills and develop my teaching abilities. I found great joy in helping my students learn and grow, and this motivated me to pursue a career in education.
In order to expand my horizons and gain more teaching experience, I decided to come to the United States to pursue a Master's degree in Education. I am currently enrolled in the program at a prestigious university in New York City. The experience has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best educators in the field and exchange ideas with classmates from all over the world.
Apart from my academic pursuits, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures. I have been fortunate enough to visit several countries in Europe and Asia, and each trip has been a valuable learning experience. I believe that immersing oneself in different cultures can broaden one's perspective and foster understanding and tolerance.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and practicing yoga. Reading allows me to escape into different worlds and gain new insights, while music and yoga help me relax and maintain a healthy mind and body.
