Hello everyone,
My name is Alice and I am a freshman here at XYZ University. I am extremely excited to be standing here today, introducing myself to all of you. Allow me to share a little bit about myself.
I come from a small town in the countryside and I am the eldest of three siblings. Growing up in a close-knit family, I have learned the importance of love, support, and unity. My parents have always been my role models, teaching me the values of hard work, determination, and never giving up on my dreams.
Academically, I have always been passionate about learning and exploring new things. Throughout my high school years, I actively participated in various extracurricular activities, such as debate club and science club. These experiences have not only broadened my knowledge but also enhanced my communication and leadership skills. I believe that being involved in such activities not only helps me to grow as an individual but also contributes to the overall development of my character.
Apart from academics, I have a keen interest in music. I have been playing the piano since I was 10 years old and it has become an integral part of my life. Music has taught me discipline, patience, and the ability to express my emotions. I hope to continue playing the piano during my time here at university and maybe even join a music club or band.
In terms of my future goals, I am still exploring different possibilities and keeping an open mind. I am interested in studying psychology, as I have always been fascinated by the human mind and behavior. I also have a passion for helping others, so a career in counseling or therapy is something I am considering.
